What is a Podiatrist?
A Podiatrist, also known as Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), is a specialist trained to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot, ankle and leg below the knee. Podiatric physicians have extensive background knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, general medicine, surgery, and pharmacology.
